PREPARATION PROCEDURES

Water damage to plaster and paint
  • Floors, furniture and personal belongings protected with new plastic drop cloths

  • Peeling paint and loose plaster removed, surfaces and holes compounded and plastered for smooth finish

  • Damaged or separated sheetrock tape replaced, chronic structural cracks repaired

  • “Nail pops” removed and corrected

  • Surfaces lightly sanded and/or wiped down with liquid sanding solvent

  • Picture hooks and other unwanted hardware removed and holes filled

  • Open seams between trim and walls caulked

  • Damaged sheetrock sections replaced and re-taped

  • Water stains sealed and removed
